Dr. Wikoff felt called to become a physican when he was in high school. He completed his undergraduate pre-med degree as well as his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine; class of 1975. He then completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Oklahoma and a urology residency at the University of Kansas, and became board certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been in practice for over 25 years and has been practicing in Paris, Texas for over 18 years.

Dr. Wikoff has acquired the nickname "p-man" for several reasons. One is obvious, as he is a "pee-man" and helps patients with urinary problems. But he also has many talents that have contributed to his nickname. He plays the piano, paints, preaches, and has excellent penmanship as a skilled calligrapher. He enjoys honing these skills in his spare time, as well as playing golf, spending time with his family, and teaching a young couples class at East Paris Baptist Church. As he always says, you must have a good sense of humor to practice urology....and this is evidenced by his license plate which reads "DOUPOK?"

Dr. Wikoff is married to his wife Jane, has 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 3 border collies, 1 cocker spaniel, 1 yellow lab, and several cats. His youngest daughter joined him in practice in 2007 as a family nurse practitioner. Dr. Wikoff loves urology, he loves to take care of people, and he chooses to live by the golden rule (Matthew 7:12).
